Position

  • Exceed customer expectations on delivery estimate accuracy for hundreds of millions of units sold by performing analysis on customer facing defects, and reviewing customer promise logic to maintain a 95%+ on time delivery
  • Drive down supply chain costs
  • Leverage software development teams (100+ developers) to systemically drive down fulfilment costs
  • Independently engage all levels of the organization to remove waste from operations processes including employing Lean/Six Sigma practices across the Network
  • Lead process-improvement efforts and manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions
  • Work with the Transportation and the Retail organizations to determine future demand for Supply Chain innovations and network design
  • People management: Provide strong performance management skills by setting clear goals and objectives, and measure performance and results delivery (100+ employees across Europe)

Requirements

  • MSc/Ph.D. in Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
  • To succeed in this highly analytical and data driven environment exceptional analytical skills are necessary. Through an easy grasp of metrics and quantitative analysis, data needs to be turned into actionable programs
  • Proven track record of success in environments with high volumes, high article/parts diversity, high customer service level requirements and a need for truly integrated supply chain management. Able to work seamlessly across warehousing (WMS, pick pack and value added services) transportation (knowledge of LTL, TL and small parcel operations), and software teams
  • This leader needs a fundamental understanding of how software solutions such as SAP/ERP determine inventory levels and how to allocate inventory across a complex network
